An inspection appointment can raise difficult questions: are the records ready, what will the officer look at, and what might need attention? Vraxor provides independent preparation support so you can approach the visit with a clearer picture of your building and a manageable plan.
A fire and rescue authority inspection or audit may examine fire safety records and all or part of the premises. The officer may also speak with staff. Follow the authority’s own appointment letter and document request: arrangements vary, and a visit is not always announced. Vraxor does not carry out the authority’s inspection or act on its behalf.
Our preparation visit starts with the concerns you have, the inspection date and the information requested. We review accessible areas and available records within an agreed scope, identify gaps and separate straightforward housekeeping or maintenance actions from matters needing specialist assessment. The aim is real improvement, not a cosmetic tidy-up or a promise that an inspector will look less closely.
You receive a prioritised action list showing the finding, location, proposed next step and who needs to deal with it. Remedial work is separately agreed and priced. Missing evidence is recorded as missing; work is only recorded as complete when supported by the relevant evidence. Urgent hazards need prompt attention rather than waiting for the appointment.
If the authority identifies follow-up actions, Vraxor can help organise the response, obtain quotations and assemble completion records. Any notice and its deadlines remain with the responsible organisation; our involvement does not extend deadlines or guarantee an inspection outcome.
